Koiles Pratt Family Law Group has practiced exclusively in family law since 2004, from our offices in Salem and Boston. We don't handle other legal matters on the side. Resolving divorce, custody, marital property division, guardianship, and the full range of family law matters is the reason clients throughout Massachusetts trust us with cases where the stakes, both financial and personal, are highest.
Since our founding, our attorneys have handled more than 2,500 family law cases, bringing more than 175 years of combined experience to matters involving high-net-worth divorce, high-conflict custody disputes, mediation, adoption, and more.

What It Means to Work With an AAML Fellow
Two of our attorneys, founder Jennifer Koiles and Marc A. Eichler, have been accepted as Fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), a distinction held by fewer than 10% of practicing matrimonial and family law attorneys nationwide.
Fellowship is only granted to attorneys who have practiced family law for a minimum of 10 years, devote the substantial majority of their practice to matrimonial law, pass a rigorous review process, and are recognized by judges and other attorneys in Massachusetts as leading practitioners in the field.
AAML Fellows are also expected to remain deeply involved in the profession itself, through teaching, writing, and shaping family law policy, beyond simply practicing it.
For clients, working with an AAML Fellow means working with an attorney vetted nationally as one of the most experienced and capable family law practitioners. It's one of the clearest, most independently verified signals of a family law attorney's ability that exists in the profession.
