Couples in the midst of a divorce likely have a list of people to contact and accounts to manage, among many other things. Most couples will plan to contact an attorney to help them through the divorce process and some spouses may also choose to see a therapist during this time of change. It may be helpful to add one more professional to this list of people who can be valuable resources during a difficult divorce.

When couples divorce, they face the task of dividing many things. Property, assets, and mutual bank accounts must all be split apart. Deciding who gets the antique desk may be hard, but it is fairly simple to resolve. Once the couple determines who gets to keep the desk, the only thing left to do is load it onto a moving truck. Other things can be much more challenging to separate when a couple divorces, though.

Young Americans are optimistic about marriage: Should they be?

Every year, thousands of Americans prepare in excitement for the day they will commit to spending the rest of their lives with their partner. Many of these people are young, and according to a recent study, very optimistic about marriage. This recent study reports that 86 percent of 18 to 29 year olds polled expect their marriages to last forever. The survey's author explains that the remaining 16 percent polled likely do not plan to marry.

Former wives united in search for husband who owes child support

Generally, if a husband remarries, his first and second wives probably do not communicate often. The first wife may have hard feelings about her former husband remarrying and for this reason may dislike the new wife. However, two former wives of a Massachusetts man contradict this view. Their actions show that women who marry (and divorce) the same man can band together when they share a goal.
